Grog® Driller™ 04 RSP, the All Conditions Marker

Metal Head heritage, rebuilt. Grog® Driller™ 04 RSP hits wet, greasy, rusty, dusty, rough surfaces with a scratchproof steel tip and virtually no limits. Fast reload with Grog® Buckshot™.

Driller™ 04 RSP is built around one promise: keep tagging when the surface is trying to stop you. This is the steel-tip concept that made Metal Head infamous—brought back and evolved into a more efficient, field-ready tool. Instead of a felt tip that collapses on rough spots, Driller™ runs a Steelball™ 4 mm tip designed to scrape through grime and keep rolling. The stroke won’t always be “clean,” but it has texture, thickness, and it grips onto almost anything. That’s the point. It’s an all-conditions marker made to hit walls and ground—wet, greasy, rusty, dusty, rough—where standard marker tips fade, split, or quit. Drag it across raw concrete, rusty metal, greasy shutters. If it looks wrong, you’re doing it right.

Full control

The upgrade starts with control. Driller™ 04 RSP runs a soft Squeezer®-type body design that turns hand pressure into predictable flow. With thick paint, that matters: you need a body that doesn’t dump randomly and doesn’t starve mid-stroke. This one lets you feed on demand—light pressure for tighter, cleaner lines; harder pressure for louder hits. It’s direct, mechanical, and it rewards technique. If your lines aren’t clean, don’t blame the tool. Driller™ asks for a short learning curve: angle, pressure, and speed matter. Once your squeeze rhythm clicks, the writing experience becomes addictive—because you’re not just laying paint, you’re drilling a mark into the surface.

Scratchproof

Up front, the Steelball™ 4 mm tip makes the difference. It’s ultra wear-resistant and scratchproof, made to handle rough without fraying or flattening. On dirty concrete it grinds and keeps rolling. On rusty metal it scrapes a path through the crust. On greasy shutters it fights for grip, then locks in. The stroke can be irregular because the tip is interacting with reality—not paper. If the tip gums up with dirt, wipe it clean with a cloth and keep drilling. When paint runs low, keep it vertical and squeeze—you’ll write to the last drop.

The Ultra-Grip™

Inside, updated Ruff Stuff Paint™ is tuned specifically for this play. It’s Ultra-Grip™: thick, sticky, high-coverage paint engineered to bond on porous and non-porous surfaces, even in damp or dirty conditions. That sticky viscosity is functional—more grip, less slip, more permanence. The result is a heavy, glossy, high-opacity stroke that sticks hard and is hard to buff. Rough, wet, or dusty surfaces aren’t a problem—they’re the whole mission.

Fast reload

Then there’s the reload logic—another real upgrade. Because Ruff Stuff Paint™ is so thick and sticky, pouring from a classic refill bottle is slow, messy, and wasteful. So Driller™ doesn’t rely on the standard refill ritual. It uses a purpose-built cartridge system that keeps the workflow fast and clean: refill by swapping bodies. So here comes the Grog® Buckshot™ 60 RSP—the Driller™ refill cartridge. It’s the same soft Squeezer®-type body preloaded with 60 ml of Ruff Stuff Paint™: pop the cap, screw on the Steelball™ tip, and keep drilling. Pocket-sized ammo that keeps you drilling.

The Grog® Driller™ 04 RSP first drop lands in three colors: Death Black, Bogotá White, and Lamborghini Yellow—and the Grog® Buckshot™ 60 RSP drops with it. Same three colors, same updated Ruff Stuff Paint™, same Squeezer®-type body logic. Run the Driller™ until it’s dry, swap to a Buckshot™, screw the Steelball™ tip on, and you’re back drilling in seconds. That’s the system: one marker built for all conditions, one refill cartridge built for lightspeed reloads, zero bottle mess, zero downtime. Keep one in hand, one in pocket, and don’t slow down.

Grog Metal Head set the steel-tip standard—Driller™ 04 RSP pushes it into a full system: control body, Steelball™ tip, thick Ruff Stuff Paint™, and Buckshot™ reloads.
