Neo Archeologia 3.0 is an advanced scan through contemporary abandonment.

SPECTRUM teamed up with Alexandre Bavard (Mosa87) for the artist’s latest installation from his Neo Archeologia series, sharing a common vision of the urban fabric as a layering set to be deconstructed and unveiled. Neo Archeologia is an artistic practice compressing the virtual space between past and future, tied to the themes of memory and removal through the reshaping of post-urban relics.

The third iteration of this ongoing, ever-evolving material experience has the city of Milan as its site, browsed by the artist/archaeologist to decipher its multiple codes.

Neo Archeologia 3.0: Mosa87 Milan Residency’ is a 96 pages document highlighting the continuous dialogue of Alexandre Bavard’s artistic practice with Milan’s urban landscape and local community, developed during the artist’s residency for his Neo Archeologia 3.0 exhibition at SPECTRUM store.
