The Automatic Pen No 3 is an essential tool for broad-stroke calligraphy projects, perfect for exploring new techniques and alphabets or for traditional calligraphic writing. Handcrafted in England since the early 1900s, this pen is made from two nickel silver blades that hold ink between them. One of the most versatile options among Calligraphy Pens, it is compatible with a variety of inks, including china ink, acrylic paints, gouache, and watercolors. 4.5 mm nib width. Note: Before first use, wash the blades in warm soapy water to remove the protective oily film.
