Sorry For Damage Done
Description
Description
The book Sorry For Damage Done emerged from a vast database of photos taken by cleaning companies in Eindhoven. From 2007 to 2013, these companies were hired to remove graffiti from city walls, photographing each site twice – before and after cleaning – and creating a 50,000-image archive. Among the Graffiti Books, these seemingly mundane photos are surprisingly engaging, playing on the before-and-after contrast and making readers question if the cleanup really improved the scene. Authors Vincent Wittenberg and Wladimir Manshanden highlight this unusual collection, including over 1,500 color photographs, around three per cent of the full database. Size: 17 x 24 cm.
