Wholetrain Press Graffiti A New York Italian Edition tells the story of Andrea Nelli, who in 1972 witnessed the first tags and graffiti on the walls and subway cars of New York City, created by artists like Big-O 116, Evil Erf 14, Super Kool 223, and Coco 144. It was Coco 144 who guided Nelli on his journey, allowing him to capture hundreds of photos that remained unpublished until now. Nelli's fascination with graffiti writing led him to write a thesis, later published as a book with around fifty images. This new edition, curated by Andrea Caputo, author of All City Writers, contains over 100 photographs, many documenting the early years of graffiti. Like other titles in the Graffiti Books section, the book is hand-bound by a Roman artisanal workshop, with a design reminiscent of university theses. A must-have for graffiti lovers. Size: 17×25 cm.
