SPECTRUM x Grog® Driller™ 04 RSP
This marker works in all conditions. From the Metal Head legacy to a full rebuild, Grog Driller™ 04 RSP pairs a Steelball™ 4 mm tip with a Squeezer® body and updated Ruff Stuff Paint™ to hit everything rough. Irregular, addictive strokes—permanent.
Legacy matters. In 2011, Grog raided industrial hardware, mounted a steel tip on a marker, and called it Metal Head—a tool that could chew over rough concrete, greasy shutters, even “write on anything” when pushed right. Loaded with Ruff Stuff Paint™, it became a cult problem-solver for bad surfaces. Now the team rethinks it from the ground up. Grog Driller™ 04 RSP is that lineage evolved—rebuilt.
Control is the headline. The signature Squeezer®-type body turns hand pressure into precise flow, letting you feed thick paint on demand without starved strokes—a direct descendant of Grog’s OG Squeezer® flow logic. Up front, the Steelball 4 mm tip is scratchproof and ultra wear-resistant, it scrapes a path through grit and rough. Paired with the updated Ruff Stuff Paint™—sticky, glossy, built to bond on any surfaces, in damp or dirty conditions—the Grog Driller™ reads where felt tips fail: rough, greasy, rusty, wet, dusty. Expect texture, bite, and permanence.
The marker invites practice—strokes can be irregular until your squeeze rhythm locks in—but the feel is addictive, and the tip is built to survive the worst. This isn’t a felt tip—train your squeeze. If the tip gums up, wipe and keep drilling. Low paint? Hold vertical, apply pressure; it writes to the last drop.
Abuse it and send feedback; this marker is built to be used hard. Before first use: unscrew the head and remove the inner seal.
SPECTRUM’s role isn’t just a logo. We worked with Grog to test it and set the launch strategy. This first release comes with a special packaging as SPECTRUM exclusive; wider production and more colors will follow.
