‘Big Cream – Urban Chronicles from a City on the River’ is not just a book, but a veritable visual manifesto dedicated to the city of Cremona – hence the title. Big Cream began in 2012 as an underground fanzine, but like most fanzines of the time, it eventually ceased publication. This 490-page volume celebrates thirty years of graffiti, hip hop and street culture in Cremona. Through its special format (24 x 17 cm), the project charts the evolution of the local urban scene: a rich collection of previously unpublished photographs, authentic stories and first-hand accounts from those who have experienced the streets first-hand.
